Training Program on Retail Standards

MOVING TOWARD AN EMPOWERED CUSTOMER-CENTRIC CULTURE   Trusted Mark Secretariat offers following programs to train professionals on retail standards with ISO Experts/ Certification Bodies and Retailers. The program is a blend of online, classroom sessions, interviews and group discussions. The candidate can apply from anywhere as long as he / she has an access to Internet. For physical examination/ interviews and group discussions candidates will be called to nearest centre as detailed below. Objectives and Key Benefits:

  • => How to ensure that the organization has all its SOPS/ policy manuals in place, amendments are made time to time — in relevance with changing time/ customer needs; documented, explained/ communicated, understood and implemented/ executed in the right spirit.
  • => How to Meet the requirements for Certification in Retail.

Programmes:

  • Programme 1: (Regular Programme): For individuals with no experience of retail operations. This is a 3 months* programme with monthly assessments + one day master class, telephonic interview, group discussion and examination.

 

  • Programme 2: (Executive Program): For professionals with minimum 3 years experience in retail industry/consulting/ certification body/ accreditation body. This is a 7 days* programme with one day master class, telephonic interview, group discussion and examination.

 

  • Programme 3: (Fast Track Program): For professionals with minimum 5 years experience in retail industry/consulting/ certification body/ accreditation body – and with thorough understanding of retail standards/ Trusted Certification scheme. They will be interviewed by Trusted officials/ ISO experts followed by examination at a centre of their choice.

* Duration of study period is the minimum study time. Masterclasses, Group Discussions and Exams are held in batches in different cities of India. Dates and centres will be informed on completion of the study material and passing telephonic interviews by Trusted officials.

Who Should Apply?  

  • Graduates keen on pursuing a career in retail: Particularly those interested in areas like customer care, safety, relations and service – Compliance/ Regulatory/ Legal/ Corporate Affairs/ Customer Service/ Marketing/ Strategy/ HR/ Operations etc. or retail audit/ certification/ consulting etc.

 

  • Professionals in the retail industry: Particularly those responsible for implementing policies for customer care, safety, relations and service – such as Compliance/ Regulatory/ Legal/ Corporate Affairs/ Customer Service/ Marketing/ Strategy/ Operations Heads in retail organizations.

 

  • Certification Bodies/ Consultants for ISO Certification: Trainers, Auditors and Marketing Professionals of Certification Bodies.

Process:

  • Participants are given course material in advance.
  • While for Programme 1, candidates are given minimum 3 months to study, for Programme 2 a week long study prepares candidates for the day long master class, group discussion, interview followed by an exam at the end of the programme. For Programme 3, candidates will be interviewed by Trusted officials and if found eligible will be straightaway allowed to take exams.

On completing the said programme and clearing the group discussion, interview and exam, the successful candidates will be awarded a TRUSTED CERTIFICATE and will be enrolled as Trusted Professional/ Consultant for the purpose of preparing/ consulting retailer clients to go for the ‘Trusted Mark’ Certification Scheme. Such Certified Professionals/ Consultants can further train other team members within his/ her organization. Pictures and details of such candidates will be posted on Trusted website.

For Registered CB’s and Privilege Members : Rs. 10000.

Reappearing the Exam :- Download Application Form

In case a candidate cannot score the minimum qualifying marks, he/she is given a second opportunity to reappear the exam by paying Rs 5000only
